Hi! I'm Olivia

I'm a senior product designer with 6 years of experience in design agency and in-house settings. I've launched 0 to 1 enterprise tools, worked across mobile and web platforms, and lead design in strategic projects for major tech clients. I hold a B.S. in Human Centered Design & Engineering from the University of Washington with a focus in HCI.

Before becoming a product designer, I spent three years studying molecular biology and working in research labs. That work honed my systems thinking, hypothesis-driven approach, and love of asking big questions. I transitioned to Human-Computer Interaction to combine scientific rigor with collaborative creativity, designing solutions grounded in research and made with and for people.

I value understanding interactions between people and systems and designing solutions for meaningful, well-defined problems.

I approach design as a cycle of forming and testing hypotheses. The biggest opportunities come from clearly defining the problem and continuously learning, iterating, and refining the solution.
